Selected to play for the Chicago White Sox in the 2010 Area Code games. Batted .273 (3-11) with 2 runs and 1 RBI in 5 games.

2009: Batted .500 (27-54) with 6 doubles, 2 triples, 14 homeruns, 17 runs, 32 RBI, 15 walks, 12 strikeouts a .616 OBP and a 1.463 slugging percentage in 20 games.

2010: Batted .660 (31-47) with 7 doubles, 3 triples, 13 homeruns, 29 runs, 42 RBI, 25 walks, 5 strikeouts, 2-3 stolen bases, a .767 OBP and a 1.766 slugging percentage in 18 games. Intentionally walked 6 times in one game.

PG REPORT: Big strong physical build. Comfortable catching set up, shifts well, soft hands, some arm strength, tends to stand up when throwing, 1.99 best pop time. Left handed hitter, open stance, long extended swing, gets to his front side well, lots of lift in swing, big power on his pitch, mistake hitter but can really put a charge into the ball. Very good student.

Selected to play for the Cincinnati Reds in the 2010 Area Code games.

Played in the Under Armour All-American game at Wrigley Field on August 14, 2010.

PG REPORT: Medium sized frame, lean wirey build. Pitches with a 3/4 arm slot, simple slow paced delivery, balanced, lower effort, ball comes out clean, 10/4 CB, tight spin, armside run FB, projectable velocity. Also hit, square stance at plate, flat path, balanced, good bat speed. Named to Top Prospect Team, very good student.

2010 (incomplete): 7-34 (.206) with 9 runs, 7 RBI, 4 doubles and 4-5 stolen bases in 17 games.

PG REPORT: Nice projectable athletic body, looks young. Simple leg raise delivery, stays on line, good direction to the plate, minimal effort release. Mid to upper 80's fastball, topped at 88 mph, nice sink on FB, occ plus life, change up also has very nice sink when not overthrown. Tends to be on side of curveball, 10/4 break. Should keep improving with strength/maturity, FB/Chg life is interesting. Showed potential with the bat, aggressive swing, quick hands and bat speed, follow at 3B as well. Good student.

2010 summer: batted .358 (29 hits) with 6 doubles, 3 triples and 10 homeruns.

Committed on August 19, 2010. Also had interest from TCU, Oklahoma and Stanford.

Threw a no-hitter (5.0 ip, 14 K's) on 5/5/10.

2010: 7-1 with a 1.15 ERA before the state playoffs.

Selected to play for the Chicago White Sox in the 2010 Area Code games. Had a 2.25 ERA and 6 strikeouts in 4.0 innings (2 games).

Attended Rivercrest High School (until '08?) before transferring to Christian Brothers in Memphis, TN.

2009 incomplete: 3-4 on the mound.

Played for the Dulin's Dodgers in Memphis, TN during the summer of '09.

Attended the Perfect Game 2011 Grads National Showcase in '09. {Rated a 9}

PG REPORT: Gunn has a strong athletic build, circle arm action, has arm strength, mixes pitches well, solid mechanics, fastball has life, commands both sides of plate, maintains velo, good 12-6 curveball, good change with fade to complete 3 pitch mix, very interesting LHP, also showed very well with the bat, has bat speed, good juice in bat, good swing, hit very well in games, very interesting two way prospect. He is also a good student.

PG REPORT: Strong build, solid frame. Solid defensive actions, has arm strength, aggressive at plate, solid pop, good bat speed, balanced, good extension, strong hands. Pitches with a 3/4 arm slot, armside run FB, 2/8 SL, sharp break, good armside run CH, ball comes out clean, good mound presence. Named to Top Prospect Team, excellent student.

Named to the 2010 Under Armour Pre-Season All-America Tournament Roster.

2-3 with a grand slam (3) and five RBI on 3/31/10. Threw a no-hitter on 5/14. Hit a homerun and got the win on the mound to improve to 7-2 on 5/21. Got the win (7.0 ip, 4 hits, 1 run, 1 walk, 6 K) to improve to 8-2 on 5/25.

Attended the Perfect Game 2010 National Showcase {Rated a 10}

PG REPORT: Extra strong athletic build, physically mature. Balanced hitting approach, no stride, rock back load, simple swing mechanics, gets hands straight to the ball, looks to pull, squares up good pitching, can handle the barrel, ball jumps hard, big power potential, good idea how to hit. 7.31 runner, playable defense at first base. Also pitched, mid 80's fastball, high 3/4's release, good deception, consistent curveball shape and location, throws strikes and challenges hitters. Pro hitter! Good student.

Plays for the Austin Wings Junior Black team during the summer.

Starter on the varsity in 2008 as a Freshman. Pitched in the 3A State Semifinal game, losing 3-2.

Shiloh Pitcher of the Year in 2009. Pitched in the State Championship game.

2010: 11-2

Threw a one-hitter against Prairie Grove striking out 15 in 7 innings.

Won the 2010 4A State Championship game. Pitched in the game.

4A All-State and Arkansas Democrat Gazette All-Arkansas in 2010.

Played for the Midland Braves in Cincinnati, Ohio during the 2010 summer.

Selected to play for the Midland Redskins in 2011.

Got an offer from Arkansas in August 2010.

Born in Puerto Rico.

Named the team Co-MVP in 2009.

Named the District 6-4A Offensive Player of the Year in '09.

Attended the Perfect Game 2011 Grads National Showcase Tournament in 2009 {Rated a 9}

PG REPORT: Ramirez has an athletic build, very good defensive catcher, strong arm, quick exchange and release, aggressive with the bat, has bat speed, ball jumps off bat, short to ball, line drive plane, bat projects, high level catcher to follow.

2010: Batted .438 (42-96) with 13 doubles, 4 triples, 3 homeruns and 35 RBI.

PG REPORT: Solid athletic build, some present strength, loose actions. Good hands behind the plate, receives the ball cleanly, quick feet, good arm strength, can improve foot work on throws, 1.97 best pop time. Balanced hitting stance, moves through the ball well, low hand set up, simple short swing, line drive plane, looks to pull, has some bat speed. Good student.

Attended the Perfect Game 2006 Louisiana Pre HS Showcase.

PG REPORT: Reeves has present day strength in his body. Kept his hands on top of the ball and used the whole field. Reeves keeps his hands in a good hitting position, and he played very hard.

2008: Batted .343 (34-99) with 4 runs, 19 RBI, 9 doubles, 19 walks and 8 strikeouts in 36 games.

Second Team All-District.

2009: Batted .448 (47-105) with 20 runs, 64 RBI, 7 doubles, 1 triple, 16 homeruns, 18 walks, 5 strikeouts, a .543 OBP, a .990 slugging percentage and 1-1 in stolen bases in 34 games. Went 1-0 with a 1.75 ERA, 1 save, 4.0 innings, 1 run, 0 hits, 4 walks and 9 strikeouts in 2 games (1 start) on the mound.

First Team All-District, All-Northeast Louisiana and First Team All-State.

Attended the Perfect Game 2009 National Underclass Showcase. {Rated an 8}

PG REPORT: Strong athletic build, well-developed, consistent solid contact at the plate, short simple swing, line-drive pop to all fields, present strength in swing, turns on the ball easily, sound receiver behind the plate, good transfer, arm works, short arm action on the mound, around the plate, 10 to 4 curveball, makes hitters put the ball in play, solid student.

Attended the Perfect Game 2009 South Underclass Showcase. {Rated an 8.5}

PG REPORT: Reeves has a thick build, this from a slightly open stance, aggressive swing, raw bat speed, good balance and extension, solid gap to gap contact, defensively, quick transfer and release, high energy catcher, plays hard, very vocal leader. Reeves also pitches, 3/4 arm slot, low effort, good arm side run, tight spin on curve ball. Reeves is also an excellent student. Named to Top Prospect Team.

PG REPORT: Thick strong build, retains his flexibility. Balanced hitting approach, simple quick and short swing, generates bat speed, ball comes off the bat hard, looks to pull, should develop power in the future, good game swings/at bats. 7.14 runner, good quickness behind the plate, shows arm strength, 1.94 best pop, can smooth out exchange. Very good student, verbal commitment to Arkansas.


Drake Roberts SS / 2B / OF 5-9 164 S / R
Washington, TX (Brenham High School Cubs)

2008: Batted .245 (23-94) with 4 doubles, 2 triples, 2 homeruns and 22-25 stolen bases in 33 games (may be incomplete).

Named the District 18-4A Newcomer of the Year in '08.

Committed in late 2008.

Attended the Perfect Game 2008 National Underclass Showcase Main Event in December. {Rated a 10}

PG REPORT: Strong compact build, mature for age. Very good bat speed, aggressive power approach, quick hands, ball carries very well off bat, squares up well, drives ball to gaps, advanced hitter. 6.99 runner, very quick feet on defense, plus defensive actions, easy to project. Dominant freshman performer at high level TX baseball, already verballed to Arkansas.

Selected for the 2009 Under Armour Pre-Season All-America Tournament.

#12 (#1 in Texas) in the Perfect Game rankings of the Top High School Prospects for 2011 on March 11, 2009.

2009: Batted .388 with 13 doubles, 2 triples, 4 homeruns and 39 RBI. Had 15 stolen bases as of 5/20.

PG REPORT: Short build but solid overall strength. Live bodied, quick actioned athlete, 6.75 runner, quick first step, can play both SS and 2B well, plenty of arm strength, good balance, has some flair/confidence defensively. Patient hitting approach, good present bat speed, works hard at staying inside ball, solid mid field contact, could open up swing for more power. Quality all-around player who plays hard. Good student.

Ranked #50 on the Perfect Game list of the Top 100 overall prospects for the 2011 draft on 9/15/09. #85 on the Top 300 on January 25, 2010.

Attended the Perfect Game 2010 World Showcase. {Rated a 10}

PG REPORT: Short athletic frame, good tightly wound strength. Aggressive swing from open stance, very good bat speed, short to ball, good extension out front, best contact pulling, occ drops hands under ball, good balance at contact, history of high performance hitting. 6.98 runner, good defensive quickness, long arm stroke but quick release, good backhand in games, accurate throws. Smaller player who can hit like a bigger player. Good student. Verbal commitment to Arkansas.

Went 1-3 with two stolen bases on 4/13. 1-2 with 2 runs and 2 stolen bases on 4/16. Had a two-run double, three runs scored and three stolen bases on 4/20. Hit a grand slam and had 5 RBI on 4/23. Went 3-3 with one homerun (4), one double, four runs and two RBI on 5/20. Two-run single on 5/29.

2010: Batted .374 (49-131) with 53 runs, 12 doubles, 4 homeruns, 31 RBI, 22 walks, 16 strikeouts, 36-41 stolen bases and 20 errors in 41 games.

Won the 4A State Championship in 2010.

PG REPORT: Shorter build with good present strength. Quick twitch athlete, plays much faster than 60 time. Plus actions at shortstop, charges ball very aggressively, quick feet with very good range, throws carry well, accurate throws. Shows some pop for his size at the plate, high hand approach, rotational line drive swing, ball jumps some, can get the ball to the gaps, squares up against high velocity pitching. Good student, verbal commitment to Arkansas.

All-State and All-State Tournament in baseball in 2010.

Arkansas Democrat Gazette All-Arkansas baseball in 2010.

Played for the Midwest Nationals in Springfield, Mo. in the summer of '10. Batted .350 (36-103) with 22 runs, 5 doubles, 4 triples, 3 homeruns, 29 RBI, 3-5 stolen bases and 9 errors in 36 games. Went 0-1 with 1 save, a 5.25 ERA, 9 walks, 12 strikeouts and 12.0 innings pitched in 6 games.

Invited to attend the Xi Summer Classic in 2010. Topped out at 85 off the mound. Went 5-6 with a double and a three-run homerun at the plate.

PG REPORT: Medium build, good strength potential. Simple leg raise delivery, bit cross body on release, loose quick arm, compact in back, long stride out front, 3/4's release point, live bodied actions off the mound. Mid to upper 80's fastball, topped at 89 mph, gets nice southpaw running action. Hard spinning curveball, sharp late bite, can get CB under right handed hitter's hands. Didn't see change up but has feel for pitching. Might benefit from shorter stride. Quality arm and athlete, good chance to keep improving. Good student. Verbal Arkansas.

Played for the Orlando Scorpions 17U Purple team in the summer of 2010.

2009: Batted .474 (27-57) with 23 runs, 27 RBI, 4 doubles, 2 triples, 1 homerun, a .581 obp, a .667 slugging percentage and 2-2 stolen bases in 20 games. Was 4-1 with a 1.73 ERA, 36.1 innings, 27 walks, 41 strikeouts, 8 games started and 2 complete games in 9 games on the mound.

2010: Batted .501 (41-81) with 41 runs, 37 RBI, 7 doubles, 2 triples, 7 homeruns, a .617 obp, a .901 slugging percentage and 12-13 stolen bases in 29 games. Was 2-4 with a 5.74 ERA, 42.2 innings, 36 walks, 51 strikeouts, 7 games started and 3 complete games in 9 games on the mound.

PG REPORT: Tall athletic build, good strength. Tall open stance hitting, complicated load, long and strong swing, good hand quickness, has extension and power potential, tends to hit around ball at times. Low flexible set up catching, straight back, simple quick release, clean transfers, frames ball well, quick feet, arm strength a bit short at present, 2.00 best pop time. Good student.

PG REPORT: Projectable athletic build, room to add strength. Drifting delivery with pause at top, high 3/4's release, arm sometimes has to rush to catch up, hides the ball well and throws downhill. FB steady at 90 mph, mostly straight, different release point on sharp 11/5 curveball, nice deep downer shape at times. Commands both pitches well, lives on the outer half. Should keep improving. Very good student.

Rated the #4 prospect at the WWBA Fall Underclassmen Championship by PGCrossChecker in October '08.

Fastball sits in the low 90's with good life. Throws a two-seam and four-seam fastball, curveball and change.

#3 (#1 in Arkansas) in the Perfect Game rankings of the Top 80 High School Prospects for 2011 on March 11, 2009.

Named to the Perfect Game Preseason Underclass All-American First Team on March 17, 2009.

2009: 8-1 with a 0.97 ERA and 80 strikeouts in 58 innings.

Picked up a win (3 hits, 3 walks, 6 K's) on 5/4/09. Hit a two-run homerun on 5/5. Took the loss in the 6A State Championship game in 2009 (4.0 ip, 3 hits, 3 runs, 3 walks, 6 K's). Also went 0-4 with 1 RBI at the plate.

Class 6A All-State and All-State Tournament Team in '09 and '10.

Named to the Arkansas Democrat-Gazette All-Arkansas Team in 2009.

Attended the Perfect Game 2009 National Showcase in June. {Rated a 10}

PG REPORT: Strong well proportioned build, has matured well physically in last year. Easy delivery, arm works smoothly. FB touched 92 mph, pitched the night before so much more velo in there, we've seen 95 last year. SL was tight and sharp at times, potential plus MLB pitch, flashed change up. Top 2011 talent who could become early draft pick in 2011.

Played for the Midland Redskins in Cincinnati the summer of '09. Team won the Connie Mack World Series. Struck out five in three innings and hit 98 mph on the gun on 8/8. Got a win on 8/12.

Ranked #20 on the Perfect Game list of the Top 100 overall prospects for the 2011 draft on 9/15/09. #16 on January 25, 2010.

Starter as a freshman at Sylvan Hills High School in Sherwood, AR.

2009: Batted .437 with 18 doubles, 1 homerun and 42 RBI.

Became the first freshman from Sylvan Hills to ever be named All-Conference.

Played for the Arkansas EXPRESS in the summer of '09. Batted .549 with 33 doubles, 2 homeruns and 74 RBI. Led them to the B.E.S.T. 16U World Championship and was named MVP after going 20-37 with 12 doubles and 23 RBI in 11 games. Also playing for the EXPRESS in the fall of '09.

Attended the Razorback Select Showcase in August 2009.

Transferred to Bentonville in August 2009.

Attended the USSSA All-American games in Florida in August of '09. Named the 15U USSSA Player of the Year.

Had a two-run double on 3/6/10. Picked up his second win (2-0) on the mound (1 hit, 10 K's, 2 walks, 1 run, 6.0 innings) on 3/10. Took a no-decision (5.2 ip, 6 runs, 2 earned runs, 8 K's) on 3/22. Improved to 4-0 on 3/30 (7.0 ip, 1 hit, 1 run, 10 K's, 3 walks). Picked up a win (5-0) on 4/13 (5 runs, 4 hits, 5.0 ip, 6 walks, 9 K's). Also had an RBI double and a three-run homerun on 4/13.

2010: 8-3 with a 3.75 ERA and 94 strikeouts in 61.2 innings on the mound. Batted .327 with 33 runs and 19 RBI.

PG REPORT: Long has a long lanky frame, good pitching body, good idea how to pitch, solid mix of three pitches, curve ball has 10-4 spin and could develop to a plus pitch, shows good arm action on change up, very high ceiling on the mound, one to watch. Hits from a wide even stance, solid contact guy, works middle away, defensively medium arm action, easy arm and has arm strength, good carry. He is also a very good student. Named to Top Prospect Team.

2010 (incomplete?): 4-14 (.286) with 4 runs, 4 RBI and 1 homerun in 11 games. 2-1 with a 3.44 ERA, 8 walks, 24 strikeouts and 20.1 innings in 5 games started on the mound.

Played for the 14U USA National Team in Guatemala in November and December 2008. Was 4-6 (.667) with 6 runs, 2 doubles, 3 RBI, 1 BB and 3 HBP in 6 games. Threw one scoreless inning (2 K's) on the mound. Won the gold medal.

Hits mid-80's with his fastball. Also throws a curve and change.

Interested in Arkansas and Oklahoma State.

Hit two homeruns (1 grand slam) and threw five innings for the win on 2/27/09. Two-run double on 3/16. Got a win with 2 innings of relief in a combined no-hitter and had an RBI single on 3/30. Had one double and one run scored on 4/14. Also threw two scoreless innings (1 hit) for the win. Picked up a win (3.0 ip, 2 hits, 4 K's) to improve to 5-0 on 4/21. 1-3 with 2 runs on 4/25. Improved to 6-0 with a complete game victory (3 hits, 4 runs, 1 walk, 1 hbp, 9 K's) in the state tournament on 5/4. Went 0-3 with 1 strikeout in the 4A State Championship game 5/9. Also pitched 1/3 of an inning, walking one.

Class 4A All-State Tournament Team in '09.

Played for the Arkansas EXPRESS in the summer of '09. Batted .429 with 1 double and 8 RBI at the B.E.S.T. 16U World Championship. Also playing for the EXPRESS in the fall of '09.

Attended the USSSA All-American games in Florida in August of '09. Named a First Team All-American and was chosen to play for USSSA in Japan in November.

Missed most of the 2009 football season with a torn labrum in his shoulder.

PG REPORT: Athletic young build, projects very well, loose actions. Simple on line delivery, repeats extremely well for age, loose easy arm, high 3/4's release with good downhill angle. Steady mid 80's fastball, was 88 mph last summer, paints corners with fastball. Excellent change up, very good arm speed and release point, consistent quality. Flashed good CB spin/bite, shorter SL type break but gets over it. Plus/Plus command potential, pitches under control and with purpose. Could be a top guy in two years.

Will be spending the 2010 summer in Cincinnati with the Midland Braves.

Threw a complete game (7.0, 2 runs, 6 hits, 1 walk, 8 K's) on 5/15/10.
