2003: Released from Tennessee (AA) on March 26...signed with the Quebec Capitals on the Northeast League on April 24...wore number nine with Quebec...traded for future considerations to the Berkshire Black Bears on June 23...wore number three with Berkshire...got his 200th career minor / indy league RBI on August 13...had his 2004 option picked up by Berkshire on September 17.

2002: Began the season on the disabled list...was released by Cincinnati and then signed by St. Louis on April 15...wore number 2 with Potomac...placed on the DL on May 27 with a broken middle finger...activated from the DL on July 8...promoted to New Haven (AA) on July 12...sent back to Potomac (A) on July 15...recalled to New Haven on July 16...wore number 6 at New Haven...News story: Burnett gains material...sent back to Potomac on July 31...wore number 5 with Potomac...News story: Burnett flirts with cycle in win...Mark had a career high six RBI in a game on August 18...was named the Carolina League Player of the Week for August 15-21.
