City Rascals (Frontier League) for LHP Joe Welsh on May 7.
2008: Temporarily placed on the suspended list by
St. George on April 14...wore number 15 with the Roadrunners...released
on July 23...signed with the Gateway Grizzlies (indy Frontier
League) on July 30...wore number 36 with Gateway...got his 100th
career strikeout on August 16...Hogs in the Minors Player of
the Week two times.
2007: Began the season in extended spring training
after spraining his elbow during spring training...assigned to
the Tri-City Dust Devils (SS-A) in June...wore number 33 with
Tri-City...released on July 9...inherited four runners and didn't
allow any of them to score while with Tri-City...signed with
the St. George Roadrunners of the Golden Baseball League (indy)
on July 19...wore number 12 with St. George...had his '08 option
picked up by St. George on November 12.
2006: Drafted by the Colorado Rockies in the 26th
round (768 overall) on June 7...agreed to terms on June 10...transferred
from the Casper Rockies (R) to the Tri-City Dust Devils (SS-A)
on June 20, before he ever played for Casper...wore number 10
with Tri-City...played his first professional game on June 22...got
his first win on July 12...sent back to Casper on September 2...wore
number 36 with Casper.
College: Spent two years (2003-04) at Jefferson
College...at Arkansas from 2005-06...wore number 36 at Arkansas...part
of a combined
no-hitter in 2006.
