2009: Named the #19 prospect in the San Diego organization
by minorleagueball.com on January 7...wore number 11 for the
Lake Elsinore Storm (California, A+)...got his 100th career at-bat
on April 29...walked four times in one game on May 3...reached
base in every one of his first 39 games as a pro. A streak that
ended on May 9...named to the California League midseason All-Star
team on June 9...promoted to the San Antonio Missions (Texas,
AA) on June 25...wore number 48 with the Missions.
2008: Signing was announced on June 12....wore number
13 with the Eugene Emeralds of the Northwest League (SS-A)...made
his professional debut and got his first hit (double) on June
18...tore a ligament in his left thumb during his third game
as a pro and had to have surgery...placed on the DL on July 21...joined
the AZL Padres (R) on August 18.
College: At Arkansas from 2006-08...had a season
long hit streak of ten games (twice) in 2007...played for Team
USA in the summer of '07...All-SEC First Team in '08...wore number
11 at Arkansas.
