Hinske won the Robert's Jewelers Fans Choice Award and "The
2300" Hitter of the Year, while Corey Patterson won Prospect
of the Year, Jason Smith won the "Good Guy" of the
Year and Courtney Duncan and Nate Teut won Co-Pitcher of the
Year...Eric and the West Tennessee Diamond Jaxx won the Southern
League Championship three games to two on September 17th. Eric
hit three home runs in the playoffs...On July 8, Eric hit a three
run game winning homerun in the 18th inning to break a 0-0 tie...Hogs
in the Minors Player of the Week three times...played for Mesa
of the Arizona Fall League.
1999: Eric made the Florida State League's All-Star
team...wore number 15 with Daytona...hit for the cycle on July

tied for the SEC lead in runs scored with 87 at Arkansas in 1997.
