2002: Signed to a minor league contract by Houston on January 17 and invited to spring training...reassigned to the Astros minor league camp on March 23...was 4-17 (.235) at the plate in spring training with the astros...released from the Astros minor league camp on March 26...signed with the Dodgers on April 2 and was assigned to Las Vegas (AAA)...wore number 12 with Las Vegas...placed on the DL on May 1 with a quadriceps injury...activated from the DL on May 26...released by Las Vegas on June 5...signed by Oklahoma (AAA) on August 10...wore number 38 with Oklahoma...Hogs in the Minors Player of the Week one time...retired in September.

2001: Placed on the DL on May 3...underwent Tommy John surgery on his right elbow (torn ulnar collateral ligament) in Houston and missed the rest of the season...became a free agent at the end of the season.

2000: Signed to a minor league contract by the Astros on December 16...played Matt Crane in the movie 'For Love of the Game' starring Kevin Costner.

1998: Signed by Kansas City on December 16.

1996: Acquired by Toronto on March 13...signed by the Yankees on November 27.

1995: Contract was purchased by Los Angeles on February 8...signed by Minnesota on June 1...signed by Cleveland on December 19.

1993: Started in Center Field for the Florida Marlins first game in franchise history...hit .434 for Scottsdale of the Arizona Fall League, the all-time AFL batting average record until 2004...had a .506 on-base percentage, a league record until 2004.

1992: Selected by Florida on December 7 in the Rule 5 draft...selected to the Southern League All-Star Team...hit .305 for Chandler of the Arizona Fall League.

1990: Played for the Charleston (WV) Wheelers...selected to the South Atlantic League All-Star team...led the league with 106 runs scored.

1989: Drafted in the 34th round by the Reds in 1989...holds the record for at-bats (9) in a game at the University of Arkansas...selected to the Pioneer League All-Star team.

College: Is fifth all-time in walks at Arkansas...had 66 singles in 1989, third on the single season list at the UA...is third on the career stolen bases list with 68...attended the UofA from 1987-89.
