2006: Assigned to Palm Beach from extended spring training on April 17...wore number 9 with the Palm Beach Cardinals...released on May 23...threw out 4 of 13 attempted base stealers (31%) with 1 PB.

2005: Activated from extended spring training by the Swing of the Quad Cities (A-) on April 8...hit his first professional homerun on April 17...wore number 8 with the Swing...News Story: Toops at home behind plate...selected to represent the Western Division in the Midwest League All-Star game...started and walked in his only plate appearance at the All-Star game on June 21...threw out 21 of 51 attempted base stealers (41%) and picked off five runners with QC...promoted to the Palm Beach Cardinals (A+) of the Florida State League on July 17...wore number 31 at Palm Beach...played his 100th career game on August 17....threw out 13 of 31 attempted base stealers (42%) and picked off one runner with PB...had 6 passed balls on the season...won the Florida State League Championship with Palm Beach...Hogs in the Minors Player of the Week one time...invited to the Cardinals winter Instructional League where he batted .304 (7-23) with four doubles in ten games.

2004: Drafted on June 7...wore number 5 with the New Jersey Cardinals (A)...made his professional debut on June 30...played 32 games at catcher.

College: At Arkansas from 2001-04...wore number 5 at Arkansas.
