Cecil 'Hootie' Ingram earned All-SEC honors as a sophomore after leading the nation in interceptions with 10. He holds the record for the longest punt return in Orange Bowl history-an 80-yarder for a touchdown that helped Alabama crush Syracuse 61-6. Ingram was an assistant coach at Arkansas, 1967-69, then head coach at Clemson, 1970-72, before moving to the Southeastern Conference as an assistant commissioner in 1973.  He was Florida State's director of athletics from 1989 until his retirement  in 1996.
