Les Lancaster -- Manager, Sioux City Explorers (American Association, Independent Baseball)

*Signed a three-year contract on 12/23/08

(as of baseball season 2010) Les Lancaster was named manager of the Sioux City Explorers (AA) on November 19, 2007.
Lancaster came to the X's with impressive credentials after spending the past three seasons in the Golden Baseball League. While in the Golden League, Lancaster made the playoffs two out the three seasons and won a league championship in 2006 with the Reno Silver Sox. Prior to the Golden League, Les managed Adirondack (1999 & 2000) and Lincoln (2001 & 2002) of the Northern League and Coastal Bend (2003) from the Central League. In addition to his championship in 2006, Lancaster also led Adirondack to a championship in 2000 and has made the playoffs in 6 of the 8 seasons he has been a field manager. Les also received managerial honors by being named Independent League Manager of the Year in 2000 and Golden League Manager of the Year in 2006.
A prep star in Nimitz High School in Irving, TX in the early '80's, Lancaster played one year at Dallas Baptist College before transferring to the
University of Arkansas where he spent three seasons with the Razorbacks.


David Lee -- Quarterbacks Coach, Miami Dolphins

(as of football season 2010) The Miami Dolphins named David Lee their quarterbacks coach in January 2008. Lee comes to the team with four years of experience at the NFL level, all with the Dallas Cowboys from 2003-06. In 2007, Lee ran the offense and tutored the quarterbacks at the University of Arkansas when the team posted a regular season record of 8-4 and went on to appear in the Cotton Bowl.
With the Cowboys, Lee started as the team's offensive quality control coach and added the title of quarterbacks coach in 2005. In Lee's four years in the post, three different Cowboys quarterbacks threw for 3,000 yards in a single season, while a fourth, Tony Romo, went from being an undrafted college free agent in 2003 to a starter in 2006.
This past year, Lee presided over an
Arkansas Razorbacks' offense that averaged 37.3 points per game and 450.0 yards per contest, figures that ranked 13th and 17th nationally, respectively, and were school records. The running game averaged 286.5 yards an outing and 6.0-yards per attempt as Darren McFadden amassed 1,830 yards and 16 touchdowns on 325 attempts. Arkansas' running game ranked fourth nationally. The 2007 season marked Lee's third stint at Arkansas, having also coached the fullbacks and quarterbacks there from 1984-88 and the quarterbacks from 2001-02.
Overall, Lee possesses 29 years of experience at the collegiate level, including five as a head coach, when he served in that role at Texas-El Paso from 1989-93.
Lee got his start in the coaching profession tutoring the quarterbacks and receivers at Tennessee-Martin from 1975-76. A one-year stint as quarterbacks coach at Vanderbilt (1977) preceded a five-year run in the same role at Ole Miss, from 1978-82. He moved on to head up the offense at New Mexico in 1983 before embarking on his initial stint at
Arkansas. That success helped catapult him to the head coaching position at Texas-El Paso in 1989. After five seasons in that post, he became offensive coordinator and quarterbacks coach at Rice University from 1994-2000. He returned to Arkansas in 2001 before taking on his first NFL coaching role, with the Cowboys in 2003.
A three-year letterman as a quarterback at Vanderbilt (1972-74), Lee was the team captain and the most valuable player as a senior in 1974 when he helped the Commodores to a record of 7-3-2, including a 24-10 upset win over No. 5-ranked Florida, and led the SEC in passing. Lee earned his degree in history from Vanderbilt. A native of Dexter, Mo., he attended Woodham High School in Pensacola, Fla.


Ryan Lennerton -- Graduate Assistant Baseball Coach, Wayne State College Wildcats

(as of baseball season 2010) Ryan Lennerton is in his first season ('08) on the Wayne State College baseball coaching staff and will work with pitchers. Lennerton spent the 2007 season as pitching coach at Galveston College in Galveston, Texas. Prior to that, he served as head coach of the U16 Langley British Columbia Blaze Team and served as pitching coach of the U18 Langley Blaze of the British Columbia Premier Baseball League.
Lennerton, a native of Langley, British Columbia, played collegiate baseball for Eastern Oklahoma State College for two years before transferring to the
University of Arkansas. Playing under Razorbacks head coach Dave Van Horn, Lennerton was a member of Arkansas' 2004 team that reached the College World Series that also captured the 2004 Southeastern Conference Championship. He was drafted by the Los Angeles Dodgers in 2001 (24th round) and 2002 (42nd round).
Lennerton is pursuing a degree in health sciences at Wayne State College.


Dowell Loggains -- Quarterbacks / Passing Game Coach, Tennessee Titans

(as of football season 2010) Dowell Loggains is in his first season as the quarterback/passing game coach. He spent two seasons ('08-'09) as the offensive quality control coach after spending the previous two campaigns as the team's coaching administrative assistant.


Dan Lounsbury -- Quarterbacks Coach / Offensive Coordinator, Texas A&M University-Commerce Lions

(as of football season 2010) Dan Lounsbury comes back to Texas A&M-Commerce in 2009 after being a coach on both the professional and collegiate level. He will serve as the offensive coordinator and quarterbacks coach at A&M-Commerce.
After serving as a graduate assistant at A&M-Commerce, he went to coach on the professional level, he has worked with the New York/New Jersey Knights of the World League of American Football, the Toronto Argonauts of the Canadian Football League and the Shreveport Knights of the Regional Football League. In addition, on the collegiate level, he has worked at Texas, TCU, Tulsa, Purdue, Cortland State, Southeastern Oklahoma State and Texas A&M-Commerce.
As a position coach, he has worked with multiple parts of the offense, including quarterbacks, running backs and wide receivers.
Lounsbury was a graduate assistant at A&M-Commerce in 1979 and is reunited with Coach Morriss, where he coached the tight ends and slots at the University of Kentucky from 1999 to 2000.
A native of Watertown, New York, Lounsbury earned his bachelor's and master's degree from the
University of Arkansas.
