Important Notes: The only major leaguer ever to graduate from Columbine High School in Littleton, Colorado...drafted in the first round (7th overall) by Seattle in 1983...played for the Madison Muskies in 1984...played for the Huntsville Stars in 1985...voted the best pitching prospect and the pitcher with the best fastball in the Triple A Pacific Coast League in 1987...Bullpen coach for the San Diego Padres.

Important Stats: Career low 3.27 ERA in 1987...career high 93 innings pitched in 1990...in 1984 had 11 wins, 6 complete games, 151 innings pitched and 137 strikeouts.

Arkansas Notes: Lettered in 1981 & '82...lettered two years with the football team...transferred to Mesa State College to concentrate on baseball...10-3 with a 3.64 ERA at Mesa State in 1983.
