It was the world series 1984 when my father found out what hotel the padres were staying at and gave a shot at calling Tim Lollar to see if they were somehow related to each other. As soon as the front desk got the call they asked who's calling and he replied Harold Lollar. Without hesitation the call was forwarded to his room. Unfortunately he was not there but his wife talked to him a few minutes but could not confirm if they were indeed related. Anyway it was a world series I will not forget because not only did my hometown tigers win but even if they didn't I might be able to say that I have a relative that is a world series champion.
