Important Notes: Drafted by the Cleveland Indians in the 25th round (643rd overall) in 1989...traded from Cleveland to the Chicago White Sox on June 26, 1991...selected by the Florida Marlins with the 47th pick in the 1992 expansion draft...re-signed with Florida on January 8, 1993...traded to the New York Mets on March 30, 1994...made his MLB debut on September 18, 1995...traded to the Toronto Blue Jays on December 20, 1996...traded to Philadelphia on May 5, 1999...was the opening day starter for the Phillies in 2002...signed with the Boston Red Sox on February 22, 2003...signed with the Chicago White Sox on January 15, 2004...retired in 2005 after an injury filled career.

Important Stats: Had 15 wins in 2001...set a Philadelphia record with 7 RBI in a game on June 2, 2002...had 51 wins, 206 games, 897.1 innings and 773 strikeouts in his nine year major league career...hit four homeruns in his career...had 56 wins, 231 games, 979.0 innings and 784 strikeouts over 15 minor league seasons...his minor league and major league career numbers are amond the best of any former Hog.
