NFL Teams: Chicago Bears (1967-69), New Orleans Saints (1970) for three games.

Important Notes: Drafted with the tenth pick of the first round by Chicago in 1967...played defensive end...suffered circulatory problems in his leg in 1968 that ended his career early and plague him to this day.

Arkansas Notes: Lettered from 1964-66...defensive tackle...Arkansas was 29-3 while he was playing...three time All-Southwest Conference (1964-66)...two time All-American (1965-66)...won the Outland Trophy, for the nations best interior lineman, in 1966...had nine tackles in Arkansas' 10-7 win over Nebraska in the 1965 Cotton Bowl helping the Hogs clinch the 1964 National Championship, going 11-0...had 17 tackles in Arkansas' 14-7 loss to LSU in the 1966 Cotton Bowl...played in the East-West Shrine game after the 1966 season...inducted into the College Football Hall of Fame in 1992...inducted into the Texas High School Football Hall of Fame in 2000...inducted into the Cotton Bowl Hall of Fame in 2001...on the Arkansas All-Century Team and All-Decade Team of the 60's.
