12/20/11: DJ Baxendale was named Second Team Louisville Slugger Preseason All-America by Collegiate Baseball.

12/19/11: Arkansas was ranked #8 in the Collegiate Baseball Newspaper Preseason Poll.

12/14/11: DJ Baxendale was named Second Team Preseason All-America by the National Collegiate Baseball Writers Association.

10/22/11: Cardinal beat White 4-3 in 16 innings to win the Fall World Series four games to one. Michael Gunn had a walk-off RBI single in his only at-bat for Cardinal in a game that saw 17 walks and 36 strikeouts.

10/20/11: The Hogs recruiting class was ranked #22 by Baseball America.

10/19/11: White beat Cardinal 5-2 in game 4 of the Fall World Series. Jake Wise went 3-3 with one triple, one homerun and two RBI to lead White. Cardinal leads the series 3-1.

10/18/11: Cardinal beat White 11-10 to take a 3-0 lead in the Fall World Series. Jake Wise went 2-4 with a homerun for White, while Sam Bates and Matt Vinson both homered for Cardinal.

10/16/11: Cardinal beat White 8-3 in ten innings to win game 2 of the Fall World Series. Jacob Morris had a big three-run double and John Clay Reeves hit a homerun for Cardinal.

10/15/11: Cardinal beat White 8-2 to win game 1 of the Fall World Series. Cardinal got a homerun from Bo Bigham and 4.2 innings of one hit ball from DJ Baxendale.

9/8/11: Ryne Stanek (3) and Dane Phillips (29) were named to Baseball America's Cape Cod League Top 30 Prospect List.

9/6/11: Dane Phillips (28) and Ryne Stanek (38) were named to Perfect Game's Cape Cod League Top 100 Prospect List.

9/2/11: Nolan Sanburn (1) and Jake Wise (33) were named to Perfect Game's  Northwoods League Top Prospect List.

8/31/11: Michael Gunn (12) was named to Perfect Game's Collegiate Baseball League Top Prospect List by Perfect Game.

8/25/11: Ryne Stanek (3), Dominic Ficociello (14), DJ Baxendale (17) and Matt Reynolds (19) were named to Baseball America's Team USA Top 20 Prospect List.

8/24/11: Ryne Stanek (4), DJ Baxendale (10), Dominic Ficociello (18) and Matt Reynolds (20) were named to Perfect Game's Team USA Top 20 Prospect List.

8/24/11: Arkansas transfer Dane Phillips was named to the Perfect Game Summer Collegiate All-American Team at DH.

7/7/11: Dominic Ficociello was named a Perfect Game Freshman All-American.

7/5/11: Dominic Ficociello was named a second team Freshman All-American by Baseball America.

6/23/11: DJ Baxendale was named to the American Baseball Coaches Association's All-South region second team.

6/15/11: Ryne Stanek was selected as an alternate for Team USA.

6/13/11: Barrett Astin (Second Team) and Dominic Ficociello (First Team) were named Freshman All-Americans by the National Collegiate Baseball Writers Association.

6/8/11: Barrett Astin (RP), Dominic Ficociello (1B/3B) and Nolan Sanburn (RP) were named 2011 Louisville Slugger Freshmen All-American.

6/8/11: Jarrod McKinney was drafted by the Houston Astros in the 31st round (940th overall) of the MLB draft. Geoffrey Davenport was selected by the Cleveland Indians in the 43rd round (1,298th).

Arkansas signees Nevin Wilson (44th round to Philadelphia), Mark Reyes (46th to Baltimore), Drake Roberts (49th to Minnesota) and David Masters (50th to Arizona) were selected on the final day of the MLB draft.

6/7/11: James McCann was drafted by the Detroit Tigers in the second round (76th overall) of the MLB draft. Collin Kuhn (531st, 17th round) and Kyle Robinson (861st, 20th round) were drafted by the Chicago White Sox while Trent Daniel was drafted by Detroit (707th, 23rd round).

Arkansas signees Dillon Howard (2nd round to Cleveland), Greg Bird (5th round to the New York Yankees), Joe Serrano (12th to Cincinnati), Conor Costello (16th to Cincinnati), Brian Anderson (20th to Minnesota), Chris Oliver (27th to Baltimore) and Greg Milhorn (30th to Detroit) were taken in the MLB draft.

6/6/11: Arkansas signees Brandon Nimmo, first round (13th overall), and Michael Fulmer, compensation first round (44th overall), were drafted by the New York Mets.

6/5/11: DJ Baxendale, Jarrod McKinney and Ryne Stanek were named to the Tempe All-Regional Team.

5/31/11: DJ Baxendale was named a semifinalist for the 2011 USA Baseball Golden Spikes Award.

2/18/11: The Razorbacks set a new opening-day attendance mark in both paid (8,602) and actual attendance (7,526) in a 5-0 shutout of Deleware State. It was also Arkansas' 17th straight opening day victory.

2/15/11: The SEC coaches picked the Hogs to finish second in the SEC West.

2/9/11: The Hogs were picked to finish third in the SEC West by Baseball America. James McCann (C) was named to the All-Conference team. Ryne Stanek (#2) and Dominic Ficociello (#4) were named to the Top Newcomers list.

2/3/11: Baseball America ranked James McCann the #28 junior, DJ Baxendale the #47 sophomore, Ryne Stanek the #4 freshman and Dominic Ficociello the #9 freshman in their Top 50 for each college class.

1/31/11: Arkansas was ranked #24 in the National Collegiate Baseball Writers Association Preseason Poll.
