Fastball runs 88-90 with a hard sidearm slider at 78-81. Uses several arm angles to throw six pitches for strikes.

Earned MVP and All-Tournament (SS) honors at the Blue Springs Wood Bat Invitational in Missouri on 7/13. Had two triples at the plate and had 10 strikeouts while giving up five hits on the mound in a 2-1 win in the Championship game. DVH was there to see him at some point during the tournament.

Committed to Arkansas on August 1, '08. Also had an offer from Nebraska.
