HogNation: Did you know about the Hogs in the Minors website before you received this letter/survey? If so, how?

Eric Hinske: No.

HN: What was your favorite game as a Razorback and why?

EH: '97, first game at home vs. LSU. 8,000 fans and I hit a homerun (3 run) in the 1st inning.

HN: What was it like being a Razorback?

EH: It was a great experience.

HN: Do you still follow the Hogs?

EH: Yes, as much as possible.

HN: What is the best thing about playing in the minor leagues?

EH: The chance to get to the big leagues.

HN: The worst thing?

EH: Travel and fast food.

HN: Was it difficult to adjust to wooden bats?

EH: At first it was a change but now I don't remember what it was like to use a metal bat.

HN: Have you played with or against any other former Hogs? If so who? What was it like?

EH: Yes, Matt Carnes, Matt Erickson, Rob Quarnstrom, Jason McConnell, Joe Jester. It was weird playing against them.

HN: What did you think of Razorback fans? How do fans in the minor leagues compare?

EH: The Hog fans are great. They have more passion than minor league fans.

HN: Where are the best and worst places you've played games in the minor leagues? Why?

EH: Best - Sacramento - 15,000 fans on average.

Worst - Calgary - Freezing cold in April.

HN: Do you keep up with any of your former Hog teammates?

EH: No.

HN: How does each level (College, A, AA, etc) compare competitively?

EH: After A ball is the biggest jump. AA, AAA is the toughest.
