Alan Mahaffey: No.
HN: What was your favorite game as a Razorback and why?
AM: Pitching in the SEC West Tournament, I threw 8 innings and that got us into the NCAA Regionals in 1995.
HN: What was it like being a Razorback?
AM: It was great, all the support from the fans across the state and all the great friends that I made on the team.
HN: Do you still follow the Hogs?
AM: YES.
HN: What is the best thing about playing in the minor leagues?
AM: Trying to get to the Big Leagues.
HN: The worst thing?
AM: Travel.
HN: Was it difficult to adjust to wooden bats?
AM: Did not bat.
HN: Have you played with or against any other former Hogs? If so who? What was it like?
AM: Yes, Todd Abbott, Kenderick Moore, Matt Erickson.
HN: What did you think of Razorback fans? How do fans in the minor leagues compare?
AM: They were great, they support baseball great. No they don't.
HN: Where are the best and worst places you've played games in the minor leagues? Why?
AM: Best - Memphis. Great town, great stadium.
Worst - None really.
HN: Do you keep up with any of your former Hog teammates?
AM: Yes I do, phone, email or try to get together if we can.
HN: How does each level (College, A, AA,
etc) compare competitively?
AM: The hitters get smarter and tougher, the play gets better each level you go up.
