Dr. Tommy Burnett

Under the direction of Dr. Tommy burnett, head of the Physical Education and Recreation Department, the Missouri State handball team has been crowned with National Collegiate Titles at least nine times in 25+ years.

Burnett attended the University of Arkansas where he lettered three years in football, 1964-1966. Following his senior year Burnett joined the New Jets football team for the 1967 and 1968 seasons and was a part of the team that won Super Bowl III in 1969.

Named a Cowboys Vice President in February of 1989, Jones coordinates the Cowboys' entire player personnel department. He oversees the negotiation of all player contracts, management of the salary cap, the operation of Texas Stadium and a wide range of other club related duties.
Entering his 11th year as a NFL executive, Jones has enjoyed a life-long association with the game of football. A four-year letterman as a linebacker and special teams stand-out at the University of Arkansas, Jones was a starter for the Razorbacks in the Orange Bowl Classic that followed the 1986 season.
Prior to attending the University of Arkansas, Jones was an all-state quarterback and a three-year starter at Catholic High School in Little Rock, AR. He graduated from Arkansas in 1988 with a degree in chemical engineering and went to work in the oil and gas business for JMC Exploration as an engineer.

Joe Kinnan

Peter Hawking

Peter Hawking has been the head tennis coach at The Episcopal School of Baton Rouge for twelve years. During his first six year the tennis team earned a record of 63-2-2. Peter played tennis for four years at the University of Arkansas. He was all-conference his senior year, and the team was rated as high as third in the nation.  Peter played on the pro tour for a year and was ranked in the top four hundred in the world. Peter also coached players , ranked in the top hundred in the world, on the pro tour for two years.  In between his Masters degree and his Doctorate he was the assistant coach at the University of Arkansas. Both years he held this position Arkansas won the conference title.  Peter was also the head tennis coach at Fayetteville High School for two years. His team during this time earned a record of 24-0.

Ron Hightower

Ron comes to Porter Valley after an eleven year tenure as director at the Riviera Country Club. Ron is a former two-time All-American at the University of Arkansas and competed in every major professional tournament in the world including Wimbledon and U.S. Open. Ron's highest career world ranking was number 75 in singles and 50 in doubles. Recently, Ron participated on the Senior Tour partnering with Guillermo Vilas in 1997.
